eRECOVER Officially Launches: A New Era for Digital Mental Health Care in Europe
The eRECOVER project officially launches, bringing together leading European partners to transform mental health care through a shared digital platform and integrated care pathways.
The eRECOVER project officially starts on April 1, 2026, marking the beginning of a major European initiative to improve mental health care in primary and community settings. Funded under the Transforming Health and Care Systems (THCS) Partnership, eRECOVER brings together a multidisciplinary consortium from across Europe. The project aims to develop and implement a shared digital infrastructure that supports coordinated care networks and structured end-to-end care pathways.
Over the next 36 months, the project will focus on co-design, technical development, real-world implementation, and evaluation. By integrating digital diagnostics, therapies, and monitoring into routine care, eRECOVER aims to improve access, continuity, and quality of mental health services across different healthcare systems.
